The hotel was well-maintained and fairly clean. the staff was great and made us feel comfortable. the location was brilliant, very close to the airport. the room was air-conditioned, huge, and had a TV and living area. the private bathroom had a bidet, which was a plus. the property was very close to an underground park and the mall.

The breakfast was an unexpected bonus and, as the room, it was well above what I usually get for the money.

The restaurant was incredible with good cheap food, I tried appetizing dishes. A laptop-compatible safe, multi-channel television, and a writing table were a bonus. the location was unbeatable and marvelous, nearby a bus station. Everything here was perfect, I would come here again.

We stayed 2 days and I think the first one the room wasn't freshly cleaned (may be because it has not been used for a while), but the second day you could really smell the freshness! Also, I think I forgot to ask specifically for a double bed and we had a twin room (I did not ask for a change).

Modern and wonderful place with accommodating staff and easy location right on the main avenue in Vecindario. Location short walk to the roundabout and the center. Easy check-in, parking on-site. Everything perfect. Great choice for trip.

For me as a whole being a disabled person in a wheelchair..this hotel had everything a person in my position could possibly want in a holiday break...this hotel is in the business and shopping hub of gran canaria...i will definitely stay here again and recommend it to every one...i compliment the courtesy and complete in all ways that the staff and concierge were there at all times to help in any way possible...well done and thank you all for a very enjoyable christmas break and hospitable welcome...thank you all at the hotel avenida de canarias... Mainly the price and although not ideally situated for "the Beaches" of Gran Canaria the bus to Las Palmas stops outside the Hotel with a journey time of 45 mins.approx - in the other direction towards the popular holiday resorts of Maspolomas ansd Playa del Ingles etc the bus stop is on the road at the back of the hotel, and Bus No 1 to Puerto Morgan takes 90mins at a cost of Euros 5.70 each way. The hotel buffet breakfast is more than adequate with a very good choice of food, and the evening meal at Euros 7 including wine or beer etc is also very good value for money, a varied menu each night, with the exception of chips, and chips, and chips every night! Rooms are modern, nicely furnished with flat screen tv, and kept very very clean.

No complaints at all - it would be very difficult to find anything to criticise about this hotel - the location, on the main street of Vecindario is very centrtal with a host of local shops plus m&s, El Corte Ingles, Carrefour within easy walking distance. Market day is Wednesday when the main street is closed for the majority of the day, with various stalls stretching as far as the eye can see!!
